Ted Cruz’s career suffered a fatal blow when he got caught on his Cancun caper. He's up for re-election in 2024. Voters won’t soon forget that he left Texas in the cold. There are too many pictures and he told too many lies for that to happen.

Did he really leave Snowflake at home to fend for himself? Why did he keep changing his story? How could he be so indifferent to the suffering of his constituents.

Beto said it best: “I don’t know how much we were expecting from him to begin with. The people of Texas have really stepped up and make me really proud … that guy wants nothing to do with government, or at least our form of it.”

Goodbye Ted. You fouled up.
